“Sinfonietta Rīga,” together with Latvian violinist Daniil Bulayev and conductor Guntis Kuzma, presents a stunning and diverse musical program at the Vilnius Spring Festival. This concert invites listeners to explore the vibrant and expressive musical landscape of the Baltic region.
The evening will open with the powerful and dramatic “Action, Passion, Illusion” by Estonian composer Erkki-Sven Tüür, immediately captivating the audience with its intensity and emotional expression. It will be followed by the joyful, charming, and light-hearted “Brīvdienu mūzika” (“Holiday Music”) by Latvian composer Pēteris Butāns.
The program will continue with the profound and moving “De profundis” by Lithuanian composer Raminta Šerkšnytė, followed by the lyrical and deeply felt “Cantabile per archi” by renowned Latvian composer Pēteris Vasks. The concert will conclude with Wojciech Kilar’s energetic, folk rhythm-inspired “Orawa,” offering a dynamic and unforgettable finale to this musical journey.
