This Thursday, May 28, the third season of Vilnius Spring Festival will come to a festive close at the National Gallery of Art. The festival’s closing concert will be presented by the world-renowned Swedish vocal quartet Ringmasters, arriving in Vilnius with their anniversary tour programme, 20 YEARS GOOD VIBRATIONS.

Over the past three weeks, Vilnius Spring Festival has invited audiences on a musical journey through the sounds of the Nordic countries — from the premiere by the Bazaras brothers and the Danish trio Dreamers’ Circus to the intimate evening with Laimis Vilkončius. The final concert promises to become the culminating highlight of this musical spring.

“We are especially delighted that Ringmasters have chosen Vilnius as part of their anniversary tour. This is an ensemble celebrated worldwide not only for its impeccable vocal technique, but also for its ability to create a truly festive atmosphere on stage,” says the festival’s initiator and director of the St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra, Nerijus Masevičius.

The quartet features Rasmus Krigström, Jakob Stenberg, Emanuel Roll, and Didier Linder. In 2012, Ringmasters became the first performers from outside North America to win the prestigious international quartet championship of the Barbershop Harmony Society — one of the world’s most important competitions dedicated to vocal harmony. Since then, their name has become synonymous with exceptional vocal artistry, precision, and an energy that instantly captivates audiences.

The repertoire of Ringmasters brings together diverse musical worlds — from the barbershop tradition and Swedish choral music to songs by The Beatles, Elvis Presley, and contemporary arrangements. Their four voices blend as if they were a single instrument: perfect harmony, delicately balanced chords, stylish choreography, and playful stage presence have become the quartet’s trademark.

The festival’s closing evening will be especially memorable as audiences will hear a piece created specifically for this concert. According to the organizers, it will serve as a symbolic finale to this year’s Vilnius Spring Festival programme.

“We wanted the festival finale to be more than just a concert — a celebration of lightness, excellence, togetherness, and the joy of music,” say the organizers.

Now in its third edition, Vilnius Spring Festival has invited audiences to explore the diverse musical traditions of the Nordic countries and their contemporary interpretations. Throughout May, festival concerts have taken place at the National Gallery of Art, featuring both Lithuanian creators and international performers.

The Vilnius Spring Festival closing concert with Ringmasters will take place on May 28 at the National Gallery of Art.
